Developing our leadership team to ensure a sustainable future

Updated: Aug 28, 2019

Growing a successful business from the ground up doesn’t just happen. Vision, hard work, determination & agility all play a vital role. So too does investment in recruiting & developing the right people. We think we have a reliable formula. Partners Chad McKnight (Port Augusta), Phil Cammarano (Port Augusta), Patrick Connolly (Port Pirie), Robert McDonald (Modbury & Murray Bridge) & Michael Nutt (Modbury & Murray Bridge) share a common vision for Rowe Partners. We deliver on this vision through a commitment to excellence, continuous improvement & ongoing professional development.

Accountants within our business who are hungry for greater responsibility & career opportunities are nurtured through proven pathways from bookkeeping or undergraduate accounting roles right through to Associate or Partner. For instance, Chad McKnight & Michael Nutt both joined the Port Augusta office initially as work experience students, worked part-time through university, eventually becoming Partners. To date one quarter of Rowe Partners staff have followed a similar path.

All Rowe Partners staff are provided with pathways for career advancement within the business often resulting in exciting progressions. This year, Nathan Thiele & Michelle Williams have joined Michael Havelberg, Tegan Harrison, Kylie Lawson & Katelyn Leske as Associates.

We hold an annual training & professional development conference where our

accounting staff are provided with the most up to date information on ATO processes, legislation, industry best practice related to specific accounting challenges & information on products designed to deliver improved client outcomes. We regularly attend professional development events such as Xerocon, Xero's annual conference for accountants & bookkeepers. This also feeds back into the career pathway process. The more capable & experienced our staff members are, the more opportunities become available for them.

As a very busy & growing practice with a large portfolio of clients across four office locations, opportunities often arise in administration, bookkeeping & accounting. Rowe Partners always consider quality applications from experienced & qualified accountants interested in working with us in Port Pirie or Port Augusta.
